Cookie policy
Information current as of 17 October 2026. External-provider arrangements and implementation of retention periods are still being verified. The text distinguishes confirmed facts from work in progress.
1. Scope
Cookie settings cover the homepage, catalogue, basket, partner page and policy pages on vim.marketing. The operator is Vim Global spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością; contact office@vim.global. Personal and previously issued cards retain their existing language mechanism. This banner does not control an external page’s storage after you open it.
2. Necessary storage
PHPSESSID supports the basket session, form protection and draft; vg_partner_session supports the partner session. These are session cookies. vg_privacy_v2 saves your settings choice and vg_privacy_csrf protects changes to it; both last for the browser session and use Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Browser tab restoration may extend a session. A server session-cleanup setting does not guarantee deletion after a fixed number of minutes.
3. Language, currency and other entries
On the main pages, vg_site_language and vg_currency are set only with permission, with a technical lifetime of up to one year. Consent lasts for the browser session; when you return without it, you are asked again. Rejection or withdrawal removes these settings cookies where accessible to us. Cards have used vg_card_language_ followed by a path hash; the pilot uses vg_card_lang_demo and vg_card_lang_ followed by a card ID, for up to one year. sessionStorage includes vg-order-contact (form name, email and notes) and vg-catalog-browse-v1 (browsing state), tied to the tab session. You can clear them in your browser. The external service’s full inventory and server retention periods are still being verified.
4. External example
The embedded go.vim.marketing example on the partner page is disabled. A separate check of that service found Google Fonts, Google Tag Manager, Google/reCAPTCHA, Meta and Caersidi resources, as well as an _fbp cookie lasting about 90 days. This banner does not enable that bundle even when optional features are allowed. Following a direct external link opens a separate page with its own storage technologies. Rejecting here does not clear all entries from other sites; use browser settings if needed.
5. Your choice
Allow, reject and settings actions are available in the banner. Reopen them using Cookie settings in the footer. Optional preference storage is off until permission is given. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Clearing cookies may reset the basket and your choice. IP country lookup uses a local DB-IP database without sending the IP address to its API. Questions: office@vim.global.
